Both share the same reference workflow and clip lengths. Seedance 2.5 adds a 2K tier, aims for sharper detail in premium scenes and starts at 720p, while Seedance 2.0 Pro also offers 480p and costs fewer credits. Draft in 2.0 Pro, finish in 2.5.
How many reference files can I use?
In Media mode you can add up to 9 images, 3 video clips and 3 audio files. Reference clips and audio work best between 2 and 15 seconds, and an audio file needs at least one image or video in the same generation.
What resolutions and aspect ratios are available?
Choose 720p, 1080p, 2K or 4K, in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4 or 21:9. The highest resolutions depend on your plan, the pricing page shows which plan includes them.
Does Seedance 2.5 generate sound?
Yes. Dialogue, sound effects and ambience are created together with the picture and audio is on by default. Turning it off makes the clip silent and saves a few credits.
How long does a Seedance 2.5 clip take?
A typical render takes around four minutes, a little longer for 4K and 15 second clips. You can leave the page while it renders, the result appears in your History when it is ready.
How do I write a good Seedance 2.5 prompt?
Lead with the subject and the main action, then the setting, the camera move, the light and the sound. When you use references, give each file one job, for example the face from @Image1 and the camera move from @Video1.
How many credits does a Seedance 2.5 clip use?
