Cookie policy
Last updated October 18, 2026
NovaMotions AI uses a short list of cookies and browser storage items to keep you signed in, remember your language and keep the studio the way you left it. This page lists every one of them.
The short version
- We use essential cookies for sign-in and a preference cookie for your language.
- A few small items in your browser's storage remember invite codes, layout choices and unsent drafts.
- We don't use advertising cookies unless measurement is turned on, and we will ask for consent where the law requires it.
This summary is here for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
1.What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar places in your browser where a site can keep small pieces of information. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab. Local storage stays until you clear it.
2.What we use
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| nm_session | Essential cookie | Keeps you signed in and protects your account | 30 days, or until you sign out |
| nm_locale | Preference cookie | Remembers the language you chose | 1 year |
| nm_oauth | Essential cookie | Protects the sign-in with Google step against forgery | 10 minutes |
| nm_ref | Local storage | Remembers an invite code from a link until you sign up | Until cleared |
| nm_sidebar | Local storage | Remembers whether the studio sidebar is collapsed | Until cleared |
| nm_announce_hidden | Local storage | Remembers that you closed the announcement bar | Until cleared |
| nm_draft_* | Session storage | Keeps your unsent prompt and settings in a workspace while the tab is open | Until the tab closes |
3.Analytics and measurement
By default NovaMotions AI doesn't load analytics or advertising tags. If we turn on measurement tools, they set their own cookies. We will list them on this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
4.How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies you won't be able to sign in. Clearing local storage resets your layout choices and removes a saved invite code.
5.Changes to this policy
We update this page whenever we add or remove a cookie or storage item, and show the new date at the top.
